How does Holiday Rental work ? 

Perhaps you have a special celebration coming up or just quite simply wish to get together with a group of family and friends at a week convenient to you. For availability please e-mail, enquiries@pitcalzeanhouse.co.uk

How many does the house sleep ?

23 – 27 persons. House and Cottage.

 There is also an attic, referred to as the cooks quarters which has 5 single beds and a double bed (open plan dorimitory style), very suitable for children, quite an adventure. 

How long can we stay?

Anything from 3 night stays onwards, rentals do run from Saturday to Saturday.

What about the family dog ?

He / she can stay too.

Where shall we do a grocery shop ?

Best to get that out of the way before you arrive as you can then have more free time to enjoy.  Tesco delivers to the door.

What about the cooking ?

You can either bring a chef with you or we can recommend one for you to contact, you can then discuss arrangements,  menu’s etc. Perhaps you may wish to have a special meal for a special occasion.  

What will the children get up to ?

For the children, indoors there is a bright toy room with puzzles, games, toys and books for ages up to 5 years. 

Outside, for the older children there is a trampoline, tyre swings and huge trees for climbing. There is also outdoor table tennis and a selection of outdoor small toys for the little ones.

What about things for mum and dad to do ?

We have some superb golf courses locally, we are close to Royal Dornoch and also Tain Golf Course.

Glenmorangie Distillery is approx 7 miles away from Pitcalzean House, also Close to Skibo Castle and Dornoch     

Croquet can be played on the front lawn.  We have a full sized snooker table and darts also. 

Closeby is the Burgh of Tain, where there are shops, beauticians, gymnasium

There is 33 acres of woodland to explore and the nearest thing to neighbours are the beautiful Highland Cows

What things can be organized indoors for example after dinner?

We have had several entertainments organized such as, Culloden Battle Story Teller, Whisky Tasting, Quartet with Highland Dancing. Indoor Laser shooting.

What events for outside daytime entertainment ?
