Pitcalzean House lies about 6 miles from the village of Nigg Station and some 6 miles off the A9.  It is readily accessible to both Tain and Inverness. 

Pitcalzean House lies in a peaceful and quiet part of Easter Ross. It has a lot to offer for everyone. The sandy beaches at Portmahomack and the dolphins in the Cromarty and Moray Firth. The historic Market Town of Tain with its lovely shops and cafes and the closeby Glenmorangie distillery. The attractive rural areas of Easter Ross offers a wide variety of country pursuits with some excellent fishing and shooting readily available nearby.

Directions to Pitcalzean

Follow the A9 north from Inverness, cross the Cromarty Firth Bridge, at roundabout follow A9 sign for Wick and Thurso.  Continue along A9 to Nigg roundabout (with sign for 2-car ferry) turn right, follow road until sign for Pitcalnie/Balintore/Shandwick/Hilton, turn left, follow road and take first main road right after the graveyard signed Nigg Village.  Continue along road (narrow in places) past Nigg Village Hall.  Follow road until  it is about to turn sharp right.  At this point there is a private entrance directly ahead with 2 stone pillars and a sign Cromarty Petroleum Private Road, drive through this entrance and continue along until road turns left, at this corner you will see a white fence, the entrance driveway is directly in front of you.
